Yesterday, the New Orleans Saints released TE Jeremy Shockey (#88). While he was not a personal favorite of mine, I did appreciate what he brought to the Saints during the 3 years that he wore the black and gold. He did have some memorable moments that will forever be etched in Saints lore, including that TD pass he caught in Super Bowl 44 against the Colts. Good luck, Shockey, in your future endeavors, and thanks for the memories!
